Data Specialist

You advise internal projects, services, and training on the correct use, management, and security of data in various information systems and applications.

• You establish guidelines and work processes for data quality, metadata management, and the data life cycle (creation, storage, archiving, deletion).

What you will do.

• Coordinate the configuration and rollout of data warehouse, data lake, and business intelligence environments.
• Document data models, data flows, and configuration parameters; define technical acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.
• Design and maintain interfaces (APIs, ETL processes, message brokers) between different information systems and applications.
• Monitor data integrity and consistency during changes and releases.
• Advise on and supervise the application of current security procedures (cryptography, access and authorization rules) for data.
• Ensure that data processing complies with relevant internal standards and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate on internal services and projects at the request of the Head of the IT Department.
• Contribute to the development of procedures, work instructions, and policy documents related to data management.

• Skills in drafting technical specifications, data analysis, and data quality measurements.
• Experience in writing PowerShell and Python scripts for data manipulation and developing SQL queries.
• Experience with data integration and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SSIS or other comparable platforms).
