A healthcare organization is looking for an ambulant therapist for part-time departments that offer intensive treatment to children and young people who are struggling in one or more areas of their lives. Often, there is a combination of mood problems, anxiety, ASD, ADHD, and/or other complaints. The treatment focuses on primary school-aged children (6.5 to 12 years) and adolescents (13 to 21 years). The environment plays an important role in securing learned skills.
You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team.
What you will do.
- Provide group treatments focused on social skills and emotion regulation.
- Offer outreach ambulant (family) treatment at home and within school settings, aimed at change processes.
- Organize parent and information meetings to involve parents and teachers in the treatment.
- Intensive collaboration and coordination with parents, schools, and chain partners.
- Participate in multidisciplinary consultations (MDOs) and team meetings.
- Perform reporting, registration, and evaluations.
- Connect the treatment to the home and school situation using IAG, parental guidance, and systemic therapy.
Profile
- Expert with a focus on content.
- Open to ideas and thoughts from colleagues within a multidisciplinary team.
- Able to collaborate well and communicate clearly with external parties.
- Radiates calm and can switch between multiple tasks in a day.
- Affinity and preferably work experience with the target group and/or as an ambulant therapist.
What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in MWD; SPH, HBO-v or HBO Social Work (care specialization / mental health agogist exit profile), preferably supplemented with systemic work/IAG training or similar.
- Registered in the SKJ register for youth and family professionals.
- Affinity with primary school-aged children.
- In possession of a driving license and a car.
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
Preferences.
- Experience in ambulant care and with systemic work within mental health care is a plus.
- IAG training and/or training in systemic work is a plus.
