You will join a core team focused on the revitalization of an industrial park. You will be the first point of contact for owners and users of this industrial site. The revitalization is well underway. You will build on existing contacts and be visible and approachable to the entrepreneurs.
What you will do.
- Actively engage in discussions with owners and users of the industrial park.
- Identify their concerns, the developments they foresee, and their vision for the future of the business park.
- Discuss improvement points and opportunities, including themes such as energy, sustainability, and circularity.
- Maintain and strengthen contact with entrepreneurs.
- Gather signals from the area, connect them, and translate them into concrete actions and solutions.
- Form an important link between entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs' association, and the government organization.
- Play an active role in the entrepreneurs' association, maintaining close contact with the board and members.
- Provide support where necessary in further shaping collaboration and joint advocacy.
Responsibilities.
- Be the face of the revitalization as the first point of contact.
- Handle confidential information prudently.
- Adequately process information from individual discussions for analysis and further implementation.
- Represent the government organization and advocate for its interests.
- Manage expectations among owners and users.
- Ensure a good connection between entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs' association, the core team, and the government organization.
- Contribute to constructive collaboration.
Profile
- Highly skilled in communication.
- Understands what drives an entrepreneur.
- Aware of the playing field and politically sensitive.
- Able to independently build and maintain relationships.
- Can connect different interests.
- Can translate signals from the business community into concrete actions.
- Entrepreneurial, connecting, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable in a role representing both the interests of entrepreneurs and those of the government organization.

- Experience as an (international) entrepreneur with staff, as a property owner, and as a board member of an industrial park.
- Work experience gained within the client's region.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience as an advocate from a board role towards a government organization.
- Experience with the press.
- Experience in public speaking and presenting.
