Environmental Manager

As an Environmental Manager, you are the link between the project organization and the environment. You fulfill a central, mediating role between residents, municipalities, water boards, clients, and colleagues in the execution. You ensure that projects are carefully prepared with all environmental aspects in mind.

What you will do.

• In the preparation phase, you identify all interests, sensitivities, and points of attention.
• You signal bottlenecks early to prevent delays or problems during execution.
• You coordinate with municipalities, water boards, and clients to ensure that work, such as replacing or installing cables and pipelines, can proceed smoothly.
• During execution, you advise and support colleagues in environmental management and ensure that agreements are met.
• You engage in dialogue and provide appropriate solutions when situations arise.
• You are responsible for communication with stakeholders, organize resident evenings, draft resident letters, and maintain contact with local residents, schools, and property owners.
• You ensure that everyone is informed in a timely and clear manner and that signals from the environment are addressed.
• You ensure social support, clear communication, and good cooperation between all involved parties.

What they ask

• Minimum HBO diploma or at least 2 years of work experience as an environmental manager.
• Strong communication and social skills.
• Ability to analyze interests and bring parties together.
• Organizational insight and a proactive attitude.
• Knowledge of or affinity with the infra sector is a plus.
• Driving license B.
