Demand Manager

• You play a key role in translating operational needs into concrete assignments, projects, and solutions.
• You form the connecting link between the organization's departments and the entities responsible for delivering, maintaining, and improving support equipment.
• You ensure that specialized equipment, tools, and support systems are available to keep military aircraft and helicopters operational.
• You look ahead to future material needs, replacement investments, and the lifespan of existing systems.
• You inventory, analyze, and assess requests from various parts of the organization.
• You advise on priorities and the deployment of available resources, capacity, and budgets.
• You monitor the progress of requests and projects, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with involved departments to realize appropriate solutions.
• You are the connecting factor between different disciplines, including operational units, asset managers, supply chain managers, project managers, and suppliers.
• You bring together diverse interests and ensure that needs are translated into feasible solutions that align with operational objectives.
• You actively contribute to making work processes more efficient and transparent.

What they ask

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in logistics, Supply Chain Management, (technical) business administration, or a comparable education.
• Knowledge of and experience with demand management, logistical processes, project coordination, or SAP are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with various departments and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to translate needs and issues into concrete solutions.
• Proactive, results-oriented attitude, and ability to maintain an overview.
• Dutch nationality is required.
• A security screening and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure.
