By using advanced design software, you ensure an efficient and future-proof setup of installations, continuously striving for optimization and risk management. You will work for an international engineering and consulting firm with a strong focus on innovative and sustainable solutions for industry, infrastructure, and water management. You will work on complex industrial projects in multidisciplinary teams, where mechanical engineering, process engineering, and installation technology come together.

What you do
- Design piping systems for industrial projects
- Coordinate the entire piping engineering process within projects
- Optimize existing and new piping systems with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams within industrial projects
- Manage junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality standards
- Prepare technical specifications for piping engineering and installation technology
- Guide tenders in piping design and piping systems
What they ask
- Completed HBO or university degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience as a piping engineer in industrial projects
- Demonstrable experience in leading project teams
- Excellent knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for piping systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and preferably Plant 3D
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude in a multidisciplinary project environment
- Good command of Dutch and English
