You will work as an experienced Mechanical Technician with a passion for maintenance and rotating equipment. You will join a technically challenging industrial environment where safety and reliability are central, within a leading organization in the energy sector.
What you will do.
- Prepare, execute, and coordinate mechanical maintenance on industrial installations within the midstream energy sector.
- Ensure that installations operate reliably, safely, and efficiently.
- Work with various mechanical systems such as compressors, pumps, and turbines within a dynamic production environment.
- Prepare and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect, revise, and replace mechanical components.
- Locate and resolve malfunctions on rotating equipment.
- Guide and manage external contractors.
- Report completed work in the maintenance system.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe and tidy working environment.
Profile
- Practically oriented, accurate, and with a strong safety awareness.
- Completed MBO 4 education (vocational secondary education) in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Demonstrable experience with mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., a CMMS).
- Good command of the Dutch language.
