- You manage the mechanics and ensure everyone knows what needs to be done
- You create and monitor the planning of the work
- You maintain an overview and ensure that the work is done on time and correctly
- You support your team with technical challenges
- You communicate with service advisors about progress
- You contribute ideas on how things can be done smarter and better
Profile
- Experience as a manager within a workshop (trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus)
- Technical insight and enjoyment in guiding others
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain an overview, even when busy
- Solution-oriented thinking and fostering a positive atmosphere
- MBO+ working and thinking level, automotive engineering direction
- Trucks (DAF) are in your DNA; you started as a mechanic and built a solid foundation
- You apply technical knowledge and practical experience as a leader with passion
- Energized by coaching and motivating colleagues
- Stimulating the technical and personal development of team members
- Engaged and connecting approach that promotes collaboration, including with other departments
- Standing firm, curious about innovation, and open to feedback
- Willingness to get hands-on if necessary
- Quality-oriented: preferring to do things right the first time rather than delivering half-finished work
