An organization is seeking a highly technical, hands-on professional to support an office reconfiguration project. In this assignment, you will take responsibility for the operational and technical follow-up of the works from preparation through final handover, acting as the main technical point of contact on site and coordinating closely with the contractor, subcontractors, and specialist parties.
What you do
- Monitor the progress and quality of works on site.
- Participate in site meetings and coordinate the various parties involved.
- Check that execution complies with the plans, specifications, and decisions taken.
- Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues as they arise.
- Track planning, actions, and follow-up decisions.
- Read and analyse construction and execution drawings.
- Review drawings submitted by contractors and track any adaptations.
- Ensure proper coordination between architecture, construction, and special building systems.
- Follow up on as-built drawings and documentation.
- Oversee demolition, partitioning, doors, glazing, and interior fit-out works.
- Monitor the integration of technical systems into the new layout.
- Assess changes and additional works, including their impact on the project.
- Participate in provisional and final handovers.
- Track punch list items and ensure their closure.
- Verify the handover of technical documents and as-built plans.
Technical skills. The role requires a solid practical understanding of building techniques and the ability to discuss technical solutions with specialists. A deep expert level in every discipline is not required, but the candidate should be able to challenge proposals and understand the interactions between systems.

Profile
- Minimum graduate or bachelor’s degree in construction or a technical field related to building.
- Proven experience in site follow-up and coordination.
- Experience in renovation, transformation, or office reconfiguration is a strong asset.
- Strong ability to read and understand construction and execution drawings.
- Good practical knowledge of special building systems.
- Ability to work with HVAC, electrical, fire safety, access control, intrusion, and related specialists.
- Experience on the client side, within a design office, or in a project/construction management environment is an asset.
- A very technical, field-oriented mindset with a practical and solution-driven approach.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge contractors when needed.
- Strong communication, autonomy, responsibility, organization, and coordination skills.

- Language requirements: Dutch or French at native or bilingual level, and English is considered an an asset.
