Network Engineer SDN

• Participate in the design and implementation of secure network architectures for IT/OT environments.
• Define, document, and validate network flows between platforms, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Work on topics related to VLANs, routing, trunking, firewall rules, DNS, DHCP, proxy, certificates, and TLS protocols.
• Support network segmentation and security zoning projects in industrial environments.
• Contribute to design and implementation activities related to SDN (Software Defined Networking) technologies.
• Ensure consideration of connectivity needs for on-premise containerized platforms and industrial applications.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues at the network, platform, and application layers.
• Produce technical documentation, flow matrices, architecture diagrams, and transfer documents for operations.
• Participate in production readiness: supervision, operational procedures, knowledge transfer, and support for operations teams.

• Network engineer with a strong focus on results and delivery.
• Ability to work autonomously and unblock complex technical situations.
• Pragmatic, structured, and rigorous approach.
• Comfortable interacting with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Platform, and Application teams.
• Fluent French is essential.

Required skills. Network expertise.

• Mastery of routing, switching, VLANs, trunking, and firewall flows.
• Solid experience in network segmentation and security zoning.
• Good command of DNS, DHCP, proxy, certificates, and TLS protocols.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues in multi-team environments.
• Experience with the specific constraints of industrial, production, OT, or critical infrastructure environments.

Platform and SDN knowledge.

• Good understanding of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift network concepts.
• Knowledge of SDN architectures and associated implementation constraints.
• Mastery of ingress, egress, load balancing, and network policies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with platform, Cloud, and DevOps teams.
• Ability to translate application needs into network and security requirements.

Desired skills.

• Experience with OpenShift networks.
• Knowledge of technologies such as MetalLB, NMState, or equivalents.
• Experience with industrial cybersecurity frameworks or "Secure by Design" approaches.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or network automation.
• Experience collaborating with publishers, manufacturers, or managed services teams.

Exclusion criteria.

• Profile exclusively focused on network administration without SDN or platform network experience.
• Network architect without operational intervention or troubleshooting capability.
• Firewall specialist limited to rule execution without a global vision of network architecture.
• Profile not mastering Kubernetes or OpenShift network concepts.
• Profile unable to produce clear documentation and ensure transfer to operations teams.
