As a physician, you will make an important contribution to the health, employability, and well-being of working people in the Netherlands within occupational medicine. This is a challenging and versatile field where you combine medical expertise with prevention, guidance, and advice. You will be employed by a secondment agency and seconded to an occupational health service provider.

What you will do.
- Responsible for occupational health advice and guidance for employees and employers regarding absenteeism, reintegration, and preventive issues.
- Conduct medical assessments and research into factors influencing employee health and employability.
- Consider medical situation, working conditions, lifestyle, psychosocial stress, and potential private factors related to absenteeism.
- Develop clear and well-founded advice contributing to recovery, sustainable employability, and successful reintegration.
- Encourage self-management and support employees in taking appropriate steps towards resuming work.
- Work under the supervision of an experienced occupational physician.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate intensively with case managers and practice assistants.
Profile
- Completed Master's degree in Medicine.
- Valid BIG registration.
- Affinity with occupational health services and/or occupational medicine.
- Strong communication skills and ability to switch between different interlocutors.
- Analytical, engaged, and solution-oriented.
