Datacenter Floormanager

• Ensure the continuity, availability, and condition of central datacenters.
• Independently perform technical work and guide colleagues and suppliers.
• Assess risks of work and changes in advance and know how to act in critical situations.
• Manage, maintain, and renew the datacenter environment.
• Actively engage in capacity management within the central datacenters, using available tooling and preparing reports.
• Be the first point of contact for large ICT projects on behalf of Datacenter Facilities and coordinate activities with other product lines, project leaders, and suppliers.
• Perform maintenance and lifecycle management on the infrastructure within the datacenters.
• Handle incidents, coordinate, and independently realize complex changes.
• Ensure the placement, connection, removal, and disposal of hardware components and keep the CMDB up-to-date.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with floormanagement procedures and associated documentation.

• Experienced datacenter professional who can work independently and understands what is involved in a critical datacenter environment.
• Careful and detail-oriented, understanding that a seemingly small error can have major consequences.
• Oversees the coherence between systems, technology, processes, and organization.
• Understands the societal responsibility and the importance of reliable datacenters for organizational continuity.
• Service-oriented, thinking from the needs of colleagues and other users, without losing sight of safety, continuity, and quality.
• Actively builds and maintains a network, brings the right people together, and creates support for solutions and changes.
• Organizes and coordinates activities independently, monitors progress, and maintains an overview when multiple activities occur simultaneously.

What they ask

• MBO 4 work and thinking level (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or ICT) supplemented with VOL-VCA, NEN 3140 VP, and BHV.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a datacenter environment.
• Completed datacenter training, such as CDCP, CDCS, CDFOM (or willingness to obtain these).
• Certified and experienced with ITIL and Agile working (or willingness to obtain this).
• Extensive experience with the management and maintenance of datacenters and associated technical rooms.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
• In possession of a B driving license.
