Civil Project Engineer

• Responsible for the civil and structural aspects of various industrial projects, from the initial initiative and concept phase to execution and final delivery.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, internal stakeholders, engineering partners, and contractors to ensure that the civil scope of your projects is technically correct, within budget, and according to schedule.
• Guide civil and structural projects from concept to execution and delivery.
• Prepare concept plans and, where necessary, execution plans.
• Create budget estimates and calculations within the civil discipline.
• Review technical calculations, plans, technical datasheets, and calculation notes from external parties.
• Responsible for the preparation of specifications, tender documents, bills of quantities, and measurement statements.
• Technically analyze offers and prepare bid tabs/offer evaluations.
• Closely monitor the civil scope, planning, and budget.
• Work on industrial construction and steel structures, taking into account applicable standards and guidelines.
• Co-manage project administration and project folders.
• Collaborate with contractors and external engineering partners during the execution phase.
• Regularly consult with Project Managers and other stakeholders to advance projects smoothly.
• Report technical information clearly and to-the-point, both verbally, in writing, and graphically.

What they ask

• A higher degree in civil engineering, construction, or a comparable technical field.
• Knowledge and/or experience in industrial construction, preferably with steel structures.
• A good understanding of relevant standards, guidelines, and technical regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, technical documentation, and/or project engineering is a strong asset.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
