Strategic Marketer
The practice of a choreographer and performance maker is developing rapidly. In the coming years, performances, films, and projects will be developed within both the performing arts and the museum context. To shape this growth, the organization is looking for an experienced, strategic marketing professional who not only executes campaigns but also contributes substantively and strategically and grows with the organization.
What you will do. The organization is looking for a senior sparring partner who thinks strategically about the direction, positioning, and audience development of a growing artistic practice. You are efficient and all-round, effortlessly switching between strategic main lines and decisive execution. You will help build a foundation that is prepared for the future.
Your activities will include:
- Strategy and positioning: Strategic thinking about the direction, profiling, branding, and long-term vision of the foundation.
- Brand development and growth: Building a visual and substantive identity that evolves with the expansion into museum spaces, film, and (inter)national contexts.
- Audience engagement and community building: Devising and implementing thoughtful strategies to not only reach new and diverse audiences but also to sustainably connect these audiences to the artist's work.
- Actively building an engaged community through targeted dialogue, in-depth supplementary programming, newsletters and exclusive content.
- Transforming one-time visitors into a loyal, permanent fan base that moves with the different contexts.
- Campaigns and content: Independently and decisively setting up and executing sharp campaigns for performances and projects.
- Network and media: Strategically utilizing media relations, press approaches, and channels for maximum impact with minimal resources.
