Expert in Child Education

• You take on the coordinating role within the out-of-school (care) and activity program (BOA).
• Together with local partners, you ensure an accessible, varied, and high-quality offer for children.
• You develop projects that increase accessibility, support BOA organizers, stimulate cooperation between partners, and ensure that children and families find their way to the program.
• You support and strengthen (recognized) BOA organizers and other leisure partners regarding the BOA program.
• You develop and coordinate projects that lower barriers to participation in the BOA program.
• You develop a supplementary, qualitative, varied, and accessible out-of-school activity program for children.
• You build a network of partners from youth, sports, culture, education, welfare, and care around BOA objectives. You facilitate consultation and alignment.
• You shape and implement the BOA policy based on the local vision and policy objectives.
• You monitor the clarity of the program so that children and parents can easily find their way to activities.
• You develop and coordinate projects that monitor the quality of the (BOA) activity program (e.g., via an enforcement framework).

• You are a strong networker and project leader who enjoys creating impact for children and families.
• You bring partners together, detect opportunities, and translate policy objectives into concrete actions.
• In your coordinating role, you contribute to an accessible, varied, and high-quality out-of-school care and activity program and ensure that organizations, children, and parents find their way to that program.

What they ask

• You hold a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent final diploma).
• If a secondary school diploma is your highest qualification, you can participate in the application procedure if you successfully complete a bachelor-level capacity test beforehand.
• You have at least two years of relevant and demonstrable work experience as a policy officer, staff member, project manager, process facilitator, or a demonstrably equivalent position with a policy or process-oriented focus.

Preferences.

• Experience in drafting and arguing policy frameworks (in an administrative context) is a plus.
• Experience in translating policy decisions into concrete actions, projects, or work processes is a plus.
• Experience with and supporting organizational changes (e.g., new working methods or digital changes) is a plus.

• Salary according to scale B1-B3. Between €3,183 and €5,363 gross/month depending on your relevant work experience.
