Climate Neutral Task

A government organization aims to be climate neutral by 2050. To achieve this, an initiative has been launched, divided into six sub-initiatives. They are looking for someone to temporarily take on the coordination of the overall initiative.

What you will do.

• Coordination of the climate neutrality initiative 2050.
• Coordinating the (sub-)initiatives and the sub-initiative leads.
• Steering the climate neutrality action plan 2050.
• Further structuring the initiative team.
• Managing the initiative team, including sub-initiative team members.
• Performing P-tasks.
• Shaping and steering the various actions from the action plan in an objective-oriented manner.
• Investigating which organizational structure helps to achieve a climate-neutral organization by 2050.
• Setting up the initiative team with the team leader according to that plan.
• Executing the sustainability action plan with the team.
• Coordinating the work within your cluster and ensuring a clear direction.
• Ensuring the quality of the work and supporting colleagues.
• Monitoring workload and working with the team leader on a healthy work-life balance within the team.
• Providing timely and sharp input for the P&C cycle regarding the finances of the initiative.
• Steering the initiative budget.
• Identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities in the initiative and acting accordingly.
• Being the administrative point of contact and acting as the official contractor for the entire Climate Neutral 2050 initiative.
• Reporting to the team leader and the client of the initiative.
• Upon your departure, the climate neutrality initiative will be well-established.
