An organization builds, rents, and maintains technical installations for water purification, water treatment, and temporary pump systems. These installations are located on projects throughout the Netherlands and the Benelux, such as construction sites, infrastructure projects, industrial locations, and environmental technical projects. As a Service & Maintenance Mechanic, you ensure that these installations continue to operate safely and reliably. You work independently and are given a lot of freedom.
What you do
- Work on pumps, piping, control cabinets, and groundwater installations
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pump and groundwater installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions, both mechanical and electrical
- Test, check, and commission installations
- Overhaul pumps and technical components
- Document activities in service and maintenance reports
- Advise clients and colleagues on site
Profile
- Technically skilled, independent
- MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics
- Experience as a mechanic in, for example, installation technology, industry, water technology, or pump systems
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations
- Driving license B
- VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain it
Desired.
- Experience with frequency converters, controls, or measurement and control technology
- Knowledge of NEN3140
- Driving license BE
