What you do
As an Information Manager, you will substantively direct the development of information provision. You will create coherence between organizational wishes, processes, information, data, and applications. You will help the organization make informed choices in this regard. You will advise management and colleagues on information-related issues and digital developments. In doing so, you will switch between strategy and implementation and ensure that plans work in practice. Your activities include:
- Directing the development of information provision.
- Monitoring coherence between processes, information, data, and applications.
- Advising on information-related issues and digitalization.
- Helping to prioritize initiatives and investments.
- Contributing to governance, ownership, and decision-making regarding information and data.
- Maintaining an overview of the application portfolio.
- Directing important supplier relationships.
- Translating developments within and outside the sector into opportunities for the organization.
- Supporting management and colleagues with information provision issues.
- Connecting different disciplines and involving them in changes.

- HBO or WO (higher professional education or university), work and thinking level.
- Experience with information management, information provision, or digitalization.
- Knowledge of business processes and information systems.
- Experience with advisory and directorial issues.
- The ability to make complex issues understandable and workable.
- Persuasiveness and connecting ability.
You understand that not every colleague has the same experience with digitalization and data-driven work. You connect with daily practice and help the organization implement changes step by step.
