As a caregiver in a facility for people with disabilities, you care for and guide residents individually or in groups. You work in a residential home for people with disabilities. You may occasionally assist in regular home care, with elderly, dependent individuals, or young families.
What you do
- Hygienic tasks: assisting with washing, dressing, toilet visits, getting in and out of bed, and changing positions
- Household tasks: cooking, ironing, washing (with or without residents)
Profile
- You enjoy working with people with disabilities
- You are motivated and caring
- Flexible work does not deter you: night and/or weekend work is part of it
- You can easily find your way to the client by car
- You have a diploma or certificate in healthcare
- Experience is not required
