As a mechanical engineering / installation technology cost expert, you guide and support the pricing process from the initiative phase through project evaluation. You advise on budgets and help find the right balance between time, money, quality, and risks. You work on smart solutions where technology, costs, and sustainability converge. You ensure control over projects from the initial sketch to the evaluation.
What you do
- You perform cost analyses and prepare reliable cost prices and estimates (from preliminary design to detailed design).
- You optimize designs based on Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses.
- You coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other disciplines.
- You keep cost data and key figures current and usable.
- You evaluate partner offers and ensure coherence and integrality.
Profile
- You are an experienced cost expert with an eye for detail and the bigger picture.
- You work structured and think ahead.
- Minimum a higher professional education (HBO) diploma in mechanical engineering.
- Additional training such as TVVL (a plus).
- Experience with contract forms such as UAV and UAV-GC.
- Knowledge of pricing and budgeting methodologies.
- Insight into relevant laws and regulations.
