As a capacity management advisor, you will fulfill a hybrid role where specialization and guidance come together. You advise at a tactical and strategic level.
- You provide insight into capacity supply, linked to capacity demand and performance agreements at team, district, and unit level, enabling managers to make informed choices.
- You advise on other operational changes that impact capacity management, such as on-call duties and sudden additional deployments.
- You have an advisory role regarding long-term and medium-term deployment.
- You strive to promote expertise, achieve set results, and execute the scheduling process.
- You play an advisory and active role in consultations and in the implementation and optimization of ICT tools for capacity management.
- You contribute to innovation, for example by organizing the team and processes more efficiently.
- Capacity management must be in order as a preventive measure for employee well-being.
- A substantial further reduction in the number of Working Hours Act (ATW) violations is an important national priority.
What you do
- You have insight into business operations and can translate annual and work plans and workload into required capacity. You advise on this for the long and medium term.
- You promote the expertise of colleagues by transferring your specialized knowledge and skills.
- You provide operational guidance to the (senior) planners and on the execution of the scheduling process, ensuring that set results are met.
- You are the first point of contact for the (senior) planners from the line and conduct the annual performance and development reviews with them.

What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level (or equivalent via EVC, or at least two years of demonstrable work experience at the required level).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and affinity with planning and capacity management.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Excel.
- Willingness to follow function-specific training courses.
- Willingness to travel for work.
- A reliability investigation is part of the selection procedure.
