As a home care assistant IG, you make a difference for clients, enabling them to stay at home as long as possible in their own environment.
- You form a circle of care with family and friends around the clients.
What you do
- You visit clients at home as a guest and provide them with care that suits their needs.
- You perform tasks associated with your role.
- You work closely with informal caregivers and volunteers.
- You build and maintain good contacts with the clients' families.
- You are part of a multidisciplinary team of assistants, (district) nurses, and various therapists to create a person-centered care environment.
Profile
- You have completed a care assistant IG training, or you are currently following one.
- You have an (old) care diploma and would like to return to work in healthcare.
