Privacy & GDPR Officer

For an international organization active in financial services and mobility solutions, we are looking for a Privacy & GDPR Officer. You will temporarily replace an internal colleague and take over an existing set of tasks within the Legal & Compliance team. The focus is on Data Protection and GDPR. In addition, you will support Information Protection and some broader compliance activities.

This is both a substantive and operational assignment: you advise internal stakeholders, but are also responsible for the practical and administrative follow-up of files, tools, and reports.

What you will do.

  • Review and follow up on DPIAs, including outstanding actions
  • Supplement and manage Data Processing Agreements
  • Review Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Assess the technical and organizational measures of suppliers
  • Update the Register of Processing Activities together with business owners
  • Follow up on data subject requests and potential data breaches
  • Answer and administratively process questions via the privacy mailbox
  • Support internal stakeholders and government agencies with privacy questions
  • Organize and follow up on privacy audits with suppliers
  • Answer questions about information security agreement templates
  • Support information classifications and risk analyses
  • Update reporting tools for Information Protection
  • Participate in audits, compliance projects, and Corporate Governance files
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and management documentation
  • Update procedures, contract templates, SharePoint
  • Support internal training, newsletters, and awareness initiatives

Profile

  • This assignment suits you if you have independently handled privacy files
  • General legal or compliance experience without concrete practical experience in Data Protection is insufficient
  • You hold a master's degree, preferably in a legal field
  • You have demonstrable practical experience in Data Protection, Privacy
  • You have worked with various privacy topics yourself, such as DPIAs, data processing agreements, SCCs, RoPAs, data breaches, and data subject requests
  • You can translate regulations into clear actions and practical advice for the business
  • You are willing to provide both substantive advice and the associated operational and administrative follow-up
  • You work independently, accurately
  • You communicate smoothly with legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Experience with Information Protection, Information Security Governance, or supplier risks is a strong asset, but not a requirement
  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus
