1st ICT Administrator
Working for a government organization, but not as a military? Become a 1st Administrator! You contribute to a safe Netherlands. You will work at an IT command that supports colleagues domestically and abroad with equipment, supplies, and ICT. As a 1st Administrator in the IT department, you make a crucial contribution to the operational IT infrastructure. You manage and optimize systems, coach fellow administrators, and ensure robust support and incident handling.

What you will do.
- Monitoring and signaling the status of applications, ICT resources, and acting proactively on this.
- Resolving disruptions, ensuring incident and problem management and follow-up.
- Consulting the activity registration system (Jira and Servicenow).
- Performing installation work on applications and systems (laptops, handhelds), implementing system changes.
- Monitoring the technical lifespan of information systems and technical infrastructures.
- Substantively assessing and interpreting requests on process, product, technical, and logistical aspects.
- Obtaining further information as needed, maintaining contacts with system managers and users.
- Making and registering further agreements with clients/users.
- Instructing users about the provided ICT resources.
- Guiding suppliers.
- Reporting deviant situations in management environments and to the end-user.
- Providing location, configuration, and client-specific knowledge.
- Performing detailed planning, work preparation, and incident coordination.
- Guides and coaches Medior and fellow ICT administrators.
What they ask
- Education: MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level in ICT.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience as an ICT administrator; routine with an activity registration system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and structured testing.
- Technical knowledge: Practical and theoretical knowledge of Windows and Linux building blocks; insight into supporting ICT processes, project control methodologies, quality assurance, security, and operational systems.
