Release Manager

• You first clearly map out the current situation (As Is): who does what, what dependencies exist, and where the risks lie.
• Based on this, you develop the desired future workflow, responsibilities, and governance.
• You coordinate releases of the containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), without needing to know in detail what is in each container.
• You coordinate with the teams around the CMS platform and with the teams managing the associated React front-ends — which are deployed separately but depend on the same backend.
• You monitor decision-making, risks, and communication between the various teams and stakeholders, cross-departmental.
• You are the point of contact for a domain-wide release approach and ensure everyone knows what is changing at the same time.

• Extensive experience as a Release Manager in an environment with multiple teams, platforms, and departments.

• Technical affinity: Familiar with modern cloud and delivery environments: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong in setting up an As Is analysis and translating it into a concrete, supported workflow with clear roles and responsibilities.
• You effortlessly switch between technical teams and business, and maintain an overview in a complex, cross-departmental environment.
• Fluent Dutch, strong English, proactive, independent, and a true team player.

Preferences.

• Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., a specific CMS platform) is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Experience with stakeholder management.
