Coordinator scenario team crisis management

• Periodically convene the scenario team and ensure the right people are at the table.
• Jointly determine tasks and distribute responsibilities.
• Record agreements and monitor planning.
• Organize the approval of the guiding scenario proposal by the organization's board.
• Manage necessary resources.
• Maintain contact with crisis management colleagues for process support and determining requirements.
• Identify necessary personnel for on-call duty and desired emergency resources (e.g., generators) based on scenarios.
• Determine which scenarios need to be developed, for example, for 'new' risks such as power outages and Process Automation (PA) failures.

What they ask

• Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in a comparable role in crisis management.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable experience with developing, updating, and implementing crisis, calamity, or continuity scenarios within a complex organization.
• Experience with risk analyses, scenario development, crisis preparedness, and translating risks into concrete measures, plans, or action perspectives.
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with relevant standards and methodologies for crisis management, business continuity, and risk management.
• Demonstrable work experience within a water management organization or similar organization in the water chain.
• Knowledge of the processes, responsibilities, and administrative context of a water management organization and the ability to apply this knowledge within crisis management and calamity organization.
