QA QC Packaging Specialist

As a QA/QC Packaging Specialist, you will be a driving force behind the quality of our packaging.

• Develop and implement quality plans that help raise packaging standards.
• Ensure processes comply with applicable EU legislation and regulations.
• Support internal teams (Product Development and Project Management) with customer queries relating to quality assurance.
• Conduct sample inspections to assess the quality and functionality of packaging and report your findings in detail.
• When defects are identified, use your technical knowledge of cosmetic packaging to investigate root causes quickly and propose effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, establish, and maintain quality procedures, standards, and specifications for EU suppliers.
• Read and write technical manuals and documentation.
• Support the preparation of work instructions and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify, develop, and implement quality initiatives.
• Complete documentation in customer portals relating to product specifications and certificates.
• Proactively build and maintain insight into the quality portfolio of preferred suppliers, supporting customer requests for new projects.
• Carry out quality and functionality checks on packaging samples.
• Investigate packaging-related quality issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the registration, follow-up, and resolution of quality complaints.

• Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, with the ability to apply this in day-to-day work.
• Experience handling quality complaints, including problem-solving, investigation, and reporting.
• Technical knowledge of packaging and packaging engineering and can identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Preferably worked with PPWR and complaint registration systems/processes.
• Familiar with EU legislation and regulations relevant to packaging and cosmetic products.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. German is an advantage.
• Independent, professional, and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
