An organization is looking for an ICT Infrastructure Architect for a client. You will translate complex IT environments into scalable, future-proof infrastructure architectures. You will be part of an experienced infrastructure and architecture team and translate business objectives and digital roadmaps into a clear technological vision, standards, and concrete architectural solutions.
You will work across various domains and bridge the gap between business, enterprise architecture, infrastructure teams, projects, and external suppliers.
What you do
- Ensure that technological standards remain current, future-oriented, and aligned with business needs
- Facilitate consultation between various stakeholders and bring complex topics together for clear decisions
- Prepare decision documents for architecture and governance forums
- Ensure clear documentation and communication towards the involved ICT stakeholders
- Translate architecture principles and standards into practical guidelines for projects
- Contribute to reference architectures and technical input for purchasing and supplier dossiers
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of technological solutions and suppliers
- Actively participate in strategic IT projects as an Infrastructure Architect
- Translate project requirements into a concrete Technology Architecture
- Monitor the application of standards, architectural principles, and technical criteria
- Collaborate closely with project teams, technical experts and suppliers
- Help shape the infrastructure vision of tomorrow
- Analyze digital roadmaps, business challenges, risks
- Translate insights into new initiatives and potential projects
- Follow up on the roadmap and ensure important decisions are made in a timely manner
What they ask
- Master's degree in a technical field such as ICT, engineering, or equivalent by experience
- 10+ years of relevant ICT experience
- At least 3 years of experience in at least 2 different technological domains, for example:
- On-premise infrastructure
- Connectivity & networking
- Cloud
- Development platforms
- Telecom
- IoT / OT
- Cybersecurity
- At least 2 years of experience in a role with a strong focus on collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management
- Good command of Dutch (understand and communicate fluently)
- Good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of another national language is a plus
