What you do
As a Dashboard Content Specialist, you are responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the organization's public progress dashboard. You translate complex source data into accessible visualizations, texts, and interactive dashboards that provide residents, administrators, and other stakeholders with insight into the organization's progress.
You independently determine the content approach, develop new functionalities, and ensure that the dashboard aligns with users' information needs and the organization's other external accountability products, such as the annual report and annual financial statements. In addition, you will ensure a complete knowledge transfer, so that the organization can independently manage and further develop the dashboard afterwards.
- Design and realize a renewed interactive public dashboard.
- Translate complex source data into understandable visualizations, graphs, flowcharts, and texts.
- Develop and optimize dashboard functionalities and user interaction.
- Ensure alignment with the organization's definitions, reports, and accountability information.
- Process periodically supplied data into current dashboard information.
- Advise on user-friendly data visualization and public communication.
- Document the setup, working method, and technical structure of the dashboard.
- Provide a complete knowledge transfer, including work instructions and management documentation.
What they ask
- At least a higher professional education (hbo) diploma.
- At least 7 years of demonstrable work experience with business intelligence.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable work experience with developing interactive dashboards.
- Demonstrable work experience within the region's gas file.
- Demonstrable work experience with SQL, data analysis, and processing large datasets.
Preferences:
