We are looking for experienced project leaders with extensive experience as environmental permit officers, acting as case owners for companies in the heavier categories of the waste processing, steel, and chemical industries (Seveso and RIE4 establishments). In this capacity, you are responsible for the entire permit granting process: from management to internal and external contacts with companies and other authorities.
The balance between the environmental space of companies and their surroundings is viewed and monitored from all sides. You take responsibility for (socially sensitive) permit files in a complex dynamic.
What you will do.
- Lead and handle more complex matters, often in an administrative context
- Be responsible for the entire permit granting process
- Maintain internal and external contacts with companies and other authorities
- Draft complex permits
What they ask
- Extensive experience as an Environmental Permit Officer (experienced medior/senior)
- HBO or WO degree, preferably in an environmental or technical field
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in accordance with quality criteria 2.1. and knowledge of the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet)
- Demonstrable experience in drafting complex permits and project-based work
- Possess and work with own equipment (laptop, mobile phone, and other necessary resources)
