Program Manager

We are looking for a security-focused Program Manager to join an organization's team and coordinate the controlled rollout of Microsoft 365 security and productivity capabilities. Sitting at the intersection of cybersecurity, governance, and operational delivery, you will ensure the program progresses in a structured and secure manner, with clear documentation, monitoring, and stakeholder alignment.

You will work closely with IT teams without taking over their implementation responsibilities or the decision-making role of senior security leadership.

Responsibilities.

  • Plan and coordinate the rollout, monitoring milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall progress.
  • Follow up on implementation activities from a security and governance perspective in close collaboration with IT teams.
  • Identify risks, issues, and challenges early and coordinate appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Monitor configuration, identity and access management, security controls, and governance aspects.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including key public-sector stakeholders.
  • Follow up on vendors, licensing activities, and usage in collaboration with relevant partners.
  • Support the transition towards related cybersecurity initiatives and follow-on programs.
  • Report progress, decisions, risks, and relevant configurations to security leadership.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and a structured handover from project activities to operational teams.

What they ask

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, and SCCM is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft security and compliance capabilities.
  • Professional experience in information security, governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of NIS2 and GDPR.
  • Experience with project or program coordination and software/license management.
  • Ability to assess Microsoft 365 configuration, identity, access, and security workloads at an expert level.

Profile

  • You work in a structured, accurate, and solution-oriented way, with strong attention to documentation and governance.
  • You are able to coordinate independently within a clearly defined framework and operate effectively at SFIA level 4 - Enable.
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and can translate complex cybersecurity topics into practical actions.
  • You have a strong interest in cybersecurity and experience working in complex or public-sector environments.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, information systems, or an equivalent level of experience is required.
  • Microsoft certifications are considered an advantage.
  • You are comfortable collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders and can act as an effective link between security, technology, and operational teams.
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch or French is required, with bilingualism considered an asset. English is required.
