Capacity Specialist

Dive into the fulfilment processes of an international e-commerce organization, identify bottlenecks before they arise, and contribute to international growth. As a Capacity Specialist, you will ensure sufficient capacity for all fulfilment processes, ranging from processes in the current distribution center to issues of international expansion. You play a crucial role in monitoring and managing capacity needs to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.

You work closely with various departments to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that further optimize fulfilment processes. Through sharp analyses and smart use of data and systems, you ensure a perfect balance between capacity and demand.

What you will do.

• Provide insight into the required capacity in m2 and m3 to respond to changes in demand
• Initiate and execute projects to secure capacity in the medium and long term
• Prepare forecasts for incoming and outgoing inventory, in collaboration with commerce and supply chain, and optimize warehouse layout
• Advise chain partners on stagnant inventory and anticipate fluctuating inventory levels and peak periods
• Work closely with Stock Control for inventory reliability and (logistical) master data
• Analyze logistical data and prepare reports and management information
• Advise management on developments and improvement opportunities and contribute to initiatives for improving fulfilment processes and warehouse capacity

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics in an analytical role
• Very strong analytical skills and ability to build reports and dashboards
• Good planning and organizational skills with an eye for detail in the bigger picture
• Professional command of the Dutch language
