Special Education Primary Teacher group 8

An educational institution is looking for a teacher for group 8 of special primary education.

• The school focuses on the overall development of students with specific educational needs and learning difficulties.
• The aim is to achieve high learning outcomes, taking into account the reality and the extra support these students require.
• The assignment is temporary.

What you will do.

• Ensure a good balance between effort and relaxation in your group, so that students feel safe, seen, and are able to learn.
• Clearly implement lessons using quality cards per subject area.
• Provide feedback on both the learning process and the end result, helping students develop ownership of their growth.
• Help children gain structure and provide guidance in their social development and interactions with others.
• Coordinate student care for your group: identify, analyze, coordinate, and undertake targeted actions.
• Actively participate in team meetings with colleagues and stakeholders, and translate the shared vision into effective didactic methods and learning activities in your own classroom.
• Work with children with specific educational needs, often due to learning or behavioral problems.
• Provide primary education using various didactic methods and learning activities, aligned with the school's learning and educational goals and the specific needs of this type of education.
• Present learning material in small, clear, and structured steps.
• Create a safe learning environment with a clear pedagogical climate: clear behavioral rules and consistent enforcement.
• Identify, register, and evaluate student problems, and guide them using group plans and developmental perspectives.
• Discuss the child's development with colleagues, internal supervisor, management, and parents/guardians.
• Act as a link between parents, students, and colleagues.
• Groups consist of a maximum of 16 students.

What they ask

• PABO diploma (primary education teacher training).
• Knowledge and experience within special primary education or special education.
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and be resilient.
• Affinity with special primary education and students with learning difficulties.
• High empathy and strong social skills.
• Availability for the upper grades.
• Availability five days a week, possibly four days in consultation.
