A public organization is looking for several company doctors to promote the sustainable employability and resilience of employees and prevent absenteeism. The focus is on risk management and prevention.
What you will do.
- Emphasize consultations for prevention and working conditions, partly through presence at the workplace.
- Early treatment of occupational diseases.
- Coach managers and employees in their role, together with the occupational expert.
- Advise on the approach to absenteeism and the improvement of working conditions (prevention) at an organizational level.
- Coordinate and monitor the quality of medical guidance in terms of content, internal agreements, and legislation.
- Maintain contact with fellow company doctors and contribute to national developments.
- Be open to guiding company doctors in training.
- Bear responsibility for the care of (former) colleagues covered by self-insurance (WGA and ZW).
- Maintain contacts with various external partners, such as the UWV and intervention companies, and participate in networks.

- Strong communication skills and promotes dialogue between manager and employee.
- Problem-solving, creative, and critical within professional frameworks.
- Easily switches within the absenteeism chain.
- Socially involved and contributes to an organization committed to the common good.
- Steadfast and radiates a clear vision within a hierarchical organization.
- Able to view issues in a broader context.
What they ask
- Academic / university (master) level of work and thinking.
- Registration as a company doctor.
- Driving license B (for visiting work locations).
- Preferably experience as a company doctor in a politically driven, social organization.
