Internship Supervisor Economics for Teacher Training Programs
An educational institution is looking for a pedagogical staff member. Your expertise in economics and education will be used to strengthen future teachers. In this role, you will connect subject didactics with practice. You will guide students during their internships, support the Economics Subject Didactics learning line, and work with colleagues and partner institutions to provide high-quality, practice-oriented education.

- Collaborate with the academic responsible for the Subject Didactics learning line in the curriculum of the teacher training programs
- Organize and supervise subject-specific internships for students and monitor their development into educational professionals
- Help students bridge the gap between economic subject knowledge, subject didactics, and daily classroom practice

- Contribute to the operation and further development of the program and actively participate in policy-preparatory work within committees (e.g., internships)
- Build sustainable relationships with partner institutions, teachers, and other actors in the educational field
- Support education-related activities, such as information days and recruitment activities
- Participate in professionalization activities for teachers and help translate current subject didactic insights into educational practice
Profile
- University degree of the 2nd cycle (Master or licentiate) in economic sciences and proof of pedagogical competence (e.g., educational master, specific teacher training, or aggregation)
- Teaching experience in secondary, higher, or adult education
- Expertise in teacher training and economics subject didactics
- Good knowledge of Dutch (C1)
- Guide students in a stimulating, clear, and development-oriented manner
- Be results- and solution-oriented and work accurately
- Plan and organize carefully, and monitor agreements and follow-up
- Work independently, take initiative, and coordinate with colleagues in a timely manner
- Enjoy collaborating and building constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and partners in the educational field
- As a (non-)EEA national, you must meet the conditions for obtaining a valid permit for the institution and the residence conditions
