Pharmacy Partnership Manager

Flemish BrabantOn siteHours negotiable>12months

For a new pharmaceutical project focused on guiding pharmacies and improving the patient journey within obesity. The role focuses on a sell-out oriented approach, with an emphasis on advice, education, coaching, and the quality of the relationship with the pharmacist. This is not a classic role solely focused on product promotion or a high number of visits; the mission is to become a true partner for the pharmacist.

What you do

  • Build lasting trust relationships with pharmacies in your portfolio.
  • Support pharmacy teams to strengthen their role in guiding people with overweight or obesity.
  • Develop strong partnerships with pharmacists and pharmacy teams.
  • Sensitize pharmacy teams about obesity as a chronic condition and the stigmas that may accompany it.
  • Support pharmacists in discussing this sensitive topic in an appropriate, respectful, and professional manner.
  • Coach pharmacy teams so they can have relevant conversations with their patients.
  • Help strengthen the role of the pharmacy in patient education, guidance, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the continuity of the treatment pathway and medication adherence.
  • Convey scientific and educational information clearly, accessibly, and engagingly.
  • Provide approved materials and tools to support patient guidance.
  • Independently and proactively manage and develop your pharmacy portfolio.
  • Share relevant needs and insights from the field with the project team.
  • Always act in accordance with the ethical and compliance guidelines of the pharmaceutical sector.

Profile

Professional experience within the pharmaceutical sector or pharmaceutical environment is necessary. Your background could, for example, align with a role as:

  • Pharmaceutical representative who wants to evolve towards a more advisory and sell-out-oriented approach.
  • Experienced professional from the pharmacy world with a good understanding of pharmacists' needs.
  • Pharmacist who wants to make the step to a field-based partnership role.
  • Trainer or coach with relevant experience within pharmacies.
  • Professional from dermocosmetics with extensive experience within the pharmacy channel and the ability to convey content qualitatively.

Your strengths.

  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape and the pharmacy world.
  • Independence, proactivity, sense of responsibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Assertiveness and the confidence to establish new contacts in the field.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and clearly convey scientific information.
  • Ability to discuss sensitive topics respectfully, empathetically, and professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and responsibility for the development of your region.
  • Fluent Dutch and good professional knowledge of English.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work primarily in the field.

A scientific background is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. Your ability to understand and convey scientific information in a clear and relevant way is decisive.

Why participate.

  • Contribute to a meaningful new pharmaceutical project.
  • Combine relationship building, expertise, coaching, autonomy, and fieldwork.
  • Build true partnerships with pharmacy teams.
  • Help strengthen the role of the pharmacist within the care pathway for obesity.
  • Follow training to further develop your scientific knowledge and patient-oriented approach.
