As a Planning Manager, you are the linchpin in the production and supply chain planning for a global leader in special coatings and treatments for flexible materials. You translate demand from business units into realistic and efficient production planning and ensure timely availability of raw materials. You optimize inventories, adjust where necessary, and continuously work on improvements.
What you do
- Establish, manage, and adjust production planning as a working supervisor.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor production versus planning and anticipate disruptions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding deliveries and changes.
- Initiate and execute improvement projects within planning and purchasing processes.
- Lead a team of 4 FTE.
What they ask
- Completed HBO or WO education, preferably in Supply Chain.
- 3–5 years of experience in production planning.
- Experience with SAP (must) and data-driven work (Power BI / Every Angle).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Good command of Dutch and English and a strong safety awareness.
