Support and guide clients in the acute phase of their illness process.
- Work in a dynamic environment with complex issues in elderly psychiatry.
- Recovery-oriented care is paramount.
- You will join a stable and close-knit team.
What you will do.
- Guide clients aged 65 and older with complex psychiatric conditions, often in combination with somatic problems.
- Clients are temporarily admitted when outpatient treatment is insufficient.
- Coach and guide clients.
- Apply different interventions per client and determine the best care together with the team.
- Understand client behavior and manage feelings and emotions.
- Creatively apply new interventions.
- Administer medication after completing the 'medication dispensing and administration' course.
Profile
- Find the balance between empathetic action and setting boundaries where necessary.
- Proactive, independent, and stress-resistant.
- Contribute to developments in client treatment and departmental processes.
What they ask
- Completed MBO or HBO nursing degree or MBO Social Worker qualification.
- Experience in acute psychiatry is a plus.
- BIG registration.
- An AGB code or the ability to apply for one.
