Geriatric Nurse

You are a nurse with a warm heart for the elderly and a passion for high-quality geriatric care.

You are looking for a temporary assignment within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that is dedicated daily to vulnerable seniors.
The assignment is for a geriatric department within a healthcare organization.
You will work in a calm, warm, and respectful environment where both acute care and rehabilitation are central.

What you do

Perform technical nursing procedures tailored to geriatric patients.
Monitor and adjust the individual care plan.
Continuous evaluation and monitoring of the health status.
Guide patients through their recovery and rehabilitation process.
Provide support and clear communication to family and informal caregivers.
Actively contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive care environment.
Work closely with doctors, therapists, psychologists, and care assistants to support elderly patients with their medical, functional, and emotional needs.

What they ask

Bachelor's or graduate nursing diploma.
Experience or strong affinity with geriatrics (experience with orthopedics is a plus).
Available on short notice.
Minimum 80% availability.
Ability to work independently and function excellently within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a warm heart for care.
Language skills: Dutch (Very good).
