As a Second-Line Support Engineer, you will have ample opportunity to independently tackle technical issues and further deepen your knowledge of modern IT environments. You will work, for example, on adjusting rights structures within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint and ensure that critical security issues are patched in a timely manner. You will handle more complex technical reports and disruptions and provide an appropriate solution.
The team consists of colleagues from the first, second, and third lines: service desk employees and system administrators. There are plenty of opportunities to expand your knowledge through certifications, knowledge sessions, and guidance from experienced colleagues. Growth opportunities towards the third line or a more project-based IT role are available.
What you will do.
- Handle, analyze, and resolve second-line incidents and disruptions (initially remotely, after the onboarding period also partly on-site at customer locations)
- Proactively inform customers about progress
- Monitor systems and identify deviations
- Support colleagues with more complex technical issues
- Document reports, solutions, and technical documentation
- Liaise with third-line colleagues when additional expertise is needed
What they ask
- MBO level 4 diploma completed
- Knowledge of server management
- Experience with Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, VoIP, security, and/or Entra
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Excellent command of the Dutch language
