The Service Unit sub-department is responsible for assembling a wide variety of systems, cleaning, and sterilizing vessels, glassware, and utensils. These materials are used by other production departments and various laboratories at a production site for the manufacturing of antigens and vaccines, as well as for various tests. The department thus plays an essential role in the operations at the site and at other locations in Europe.
The Media Production & Service Unit department is continuously developing and growing with the organization's ambition. Collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are central.
What you will do. As an Operator, you are an important link in the daily operation. You are jointly responsible for the daily production results and work closely with the Operations Manager, for whom you are the right-hand person in the daily management of the team. You are visibly present on the shop floor, maintain an overview, and know exactly what is happening. You identify bottlenecks, see where processes can be smarter or more efficient, and take the initiative to implement improvements.
Additionally, you guide fellow operators in small improvement projects and help them successfully complete these.
Tasks and responsibilities.
- Coaching and guiding operators in daily activities and actively participating on the shop floor when necessary.
- Monitoring GMP, safety, and quality guidelines and addressing colleagues on these matters and involving them in changes.
- Setting the right priorities and acting decisively in a dynamic and busy production environment.
- Being involved in process simulations, EM monitoring, and FVST (Full Vessel Sterilization) activities.
- Stimulating employee development, identifying talent, and guiding personal training programs.
- Providing training, managing training records, and contributing to the improvement of training methodologies.
- Supporting operational and administrative processes, including SAP transactions, M&R notifications, Reliance documentation, and batch record reviews.
- Initiating and guiding improvement projects, optimizing tier processes, and strengthening collaboration between teams.
Profile
- A completed MBO level 4 education (equivalent to vocational education).
- Several years of work experience within a complex production environment or process industry.
- Experience with high quality standards and quality systems.
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Good command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Office, SAP, Reliance, and other production systems is a plus.
