You ensure clear and understandable communication towards residents and other stakeholders in various aviation environments. This involves communication about policy and its impact on their living environment. The dossiers take place in sensitive political force fields with diverse interests. Your expertise lies specifically in the field of stakeholder and environmental communication within a complex, technical playing field.
You can quickly adapt in a dynamic environment and quickly grasp the substantive complexity of the dossiers. The assignment is both strategic and executive.
Activities.
- Independently developing and implementing an environmental communication strategy for various dossiers.
- Advising on the effective use of communication tools.
- Developing communication tools such as texts, Q&As, factsheets, and information meetings.
- Guiding the production of communication tools such as visuals and videos by external agencies.
- Participating in and, if necessary, organizing communication meetings with partners to streamline communication.
Profile
You carry out the assignment from an Environmental Management cluster of a department. You coordinate with environmental managers and collaborate with policy officers on various dossiers, a Communication department, and a Participation department.
What they ask
- Minimum HBO/academic working and thinking level, preferably in communication.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a communication advisor.
- Experience with (environmental) communication in spatial (infra-) projects.
- Extensive, demonstrable experience in drafting and implementing strategic environmental communication plans at the national government.
- Demonstrable experience in political-administrative and socially sensitive contexts.
- Experience with project-based work.
Preferences.
- Experience with the national government is a plus.
- A network within and knowledge of the aviation sector is a plus.
