The security organization works 24/7 to ensure the security of people and equipment. Working as a security guard for this organization is important and responsible. You will be continuously trained by experienced instructors, including on the use of force means such as a service weapon, baton, and handcuffs.
You will work in a civilian capacity, wear a uniform, and carry a weapon. In the region, approximately 700 employees collaborate on the surveillance and security of multiple locations.
What you do
As a security guard, you are the silent force at the organization's locations. Together with colleagues, you perform various tasks, including access controls, observations, patrols, interventions, and first response. Your daily tasks include:
- Patrolling locations
- Observing irregularities and monitoring camera footage
- Detecting suspicious situations and acting effectively when necessary
- Responding to alarms, using your means of force if the situation requires it
- Performing access controls and ensuring that only authorized persons gain access
- Operating access systems
- Providing support during calamities
Good basic training and regular refresher courses are essential to perform this responsible work professionally and to effectively use means of force.

Profile
You bring the following:
- An MBO 2 Security diploma
- Previous work experience in security or as a military personnel
- Dutch nationality, this may be a second nationality
- Physically fit, active sports and a healthy lifestyle suit you
- You seamlessly participate in 5-shift services for day/evening/night and weekend shifts
- In possession of a B driving license (manual) and own transport for commuting

During the first weeks, you will participate unarmed in the continuous service. Before participating armed, new employees first follow an internal training of approximately 20 weeks, of which 5 weeks are internal at a training location. A security investigation and possibly a reference check are part of the selection procedure.
This includes a background check on, among other things, criminal records and financial matters. Prior to starting, a stability measurement is also conducted to assess your stress resistance and psychological resilience. Dutch nationality is required.
