Contribute to one of the most widely used apps in the Netherlands. As an iOS Developer at a mobility organization, you will develop smart, user-friendly solutions that help millions of travelers plan, book, and experience their journey daily. You will contribute to a reliable app that truly makes a difference.
What you will do.
- Further develop and maintain the organization's app.
- Build high-quality functionalities with a strong focus on usability, quality, and reliability.
- An important area of focus is the ticket flow: easily finding, purchasing, and using transport tickets.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces and new functionalities.
- Translate user wishes and business needs into technical solutions together with product owners, designers, business analysts, and developers.
- Write qualitative, well-maintainable code and improve existing systems.
- Increase the quality and stability of the app through test-driven development.
- Follow and apply the latest developments within the iOS ecosystem.
Profile
- You will work in a progressive DevOps team with ample room for innovation, experimentation, and the use of AI.
- You are involved end-to-end: from idea and design to development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- You learn quickly and eagerly, identify opportunities for improvement, and involve others.
- Important elements of Agile working — such as collaboration, responding to change, and delivering value in short cycles — align well with your way of working.
- You communicate clearly, show decisiveness, and dare to make decisions.
- You are energized by improving existing systems, co-shaping the technical direction, and helping to make the codebase more maintainable, robust, and future-proof.

- The modern codebase is built around a modular architecture with Swift Package Manager, SwiftUI, async/await, and Combine.

- Expert in developing iOS applications in Swift.
- Willingness to also work on other systems within the domain in the long term, such as the backend or the Android app.

- Experience with writing automated tests, such as unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Interested in developments within the Apple ecosystem.

- Experience with CI/CD.

- Experience with Async/await, Combine, and modular building with Swift Package Manager.
- Experience with refactoring and migrating legacy code, for example from coordinators to a plugin architecture.
- Experience with ticketing applications, digital wallets, and/or payment solutions.
- Experience with the use of agentic engineering.
- Experience with test-driven and data-driven development.
- Experience with analytics and working with A/B tests.
- Experience with digitally accessible apps.
