As a Healthcare Psychologist, you will work daily with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team on various psychogeriatric, somatic, and psychological issues of clients. You will be the primary and secondary therapist for clients with complex problems. The team is expanding due to participation in a specialized network.
What you do
- You are the primary and secondary therapist for clients with complex problems
- You work intramurally (MDOs and behavioral visits, consultation team for unexplained behavior and systemic issues) and extramurally (diagnostics and care advice for elderly living at home)
- You maintain intensive contact with clients' families, advise them, and incorporate their information into your analysis
- You develop and provide training for colleagues at MBO, HBO, and WO levels, including supervision
- You supervise psychologists in training to become Healthcare Psychologists
- You contribute to the development of new care products and applied scientific research
- The organization actively participates in a specialized network, including a department specialized in dementia with complex behavior
Profile
- You have a university degree in psychology and are BIG-registered as a Healthcare Psychologist
- You have an affinity for clients with psychogeriatric or chronic somatic problems
- Knowledge of GRZ, systemic issues, and complex target groups (young people with dementia, Korsakov, NAH, neuropsychiatry, palliative care, or gerontopsychiatry) is a plus
- You are enthusiastic about training and supervising colleagues, from GZ training to further education at MBO, HBO, and WO levels
- You are focused on collaboration, both with the multidisciplinary team and with chain partners (GPs, home care, case managers)
