A research institution is looking for a Chemical Analyst PFAS for its Contaminants team. You will contribute to research on chemical substances that may be present in food and other products, with a focus on PFAS. There is plenty of work and the opportunity to learn a lot.
What you do
- preparing and treating samples;
- performing PFAS analyses according to clear work instructions;
- working with laboratory equipment, including LC-MS/MS;
- processing and checking measurement data and assessing whether results meet the set quality criteria;
- recording and reporting analysis results;
- maintaining accurate and diligent records of your activities;
- keeping the laboratory clean, safe, and well-organized.
Profile
- Minimum a completed relevant MBO education, for example Chemistry or Laboratory Technology;
- Practically oriented and enjoys working in a laboratory;
- Accurate and diligent in performing work;
- Able to work well according to clear instructions;
- Able to handle measurement data carefully and process and report results;
- Dares to ask questions and signals deviations;
- Curious and eager to learn;
- Enjoys working with colleagues but can also work independently;
- English language level B2 is desired, with support for development if needed.
Desired.
- Experience with LC-MS/MS or working according to a quality system such as ISO is a plus, but not a requirement.
