As an Asset Manager, you are responsible for the implementation and daily operation of asset management for the infrastructure, combined with the general management of the patrimony.
What you will do. Asset management:
- Implement asset management within the organization
- (Have) inspections, surveys, and detailed research programs carried out and interpret the results
- Collect and map all information related to the infrastructure
- Support management in developing cost-effective maintenance concepts, work packages, and work instructions
- Prepare specifications, quantity surveys
- Administrative and financial follow-up of asset management
- Consultation and negotiations with involved partners
- Functionally manage and coach asset management supervisors and drafters
Management:
- Gain and monitor a general insight into the condition of the patrimony within the organization
- Maintenance of the patrimony: determine what is needed, plan priorities, and monitor execution
- Propose and monitor planning and cost aspects
- Communication and regular alignment with involved partners
- Functionally manage and coach supervisors responsible for daily field follow-up
What they ask
- You have a master's level of work and thinking and have completed training as a civil engineer.
- You have experience with or knowledge of asset management (management system) and inspection techniques, or you are willing to acquire this knowledge.
- You have knowledge of GIS and preferably knowledge of AutoCAD.
- From your analytical and critical perspective, you think and work solution-oriented.
- You have experience with project-based work and know how to maintain structure and overview in activities.
- You are a strong communicator and can easily convince others, even in settings with multiple conflicting interests.
