Knowledge Management Advisor
You will work for a public organization, contributing to a safe country. You will be part of a unit that supports colleagues with equipment, supplies, and IT. As a Knowledge Management Advisor, you will contribute to the establishment and execution of procurement training, courses, and programs within a procurement academy. Your focus will be on developing and strengthening the knowledge and skills of procurement professionals.
What you do
- Organize, guide, and further develop procurement training, courses, and programs on various procurement-related topics.
- Broadly map knowledge needs within the organization.
- Monitor developments in the field of external procurement training and courses.
- Translate insights into new initiatives and improvements, and advise knowledge managers on these.
- Initiate and coordinate knowledge projects.
- Contribute to the development of an effective knowledge management system where processes, tools, and available knowledge are made accessible.
- Actively work on improving the quality of knowledge management within the procurement directorate.
- Monitor and improve service delivery.
- Share your expertise and act as a point of contact for colleagues.
- Stimulate knowledge sharing and development.
- Actively build collaborations with departments and educational institutions to optimally utilize existing knowledge, systems, and initiatives.
- Organize (digital) knowledge meetings within the procurement directorate.
- Develop programs, maintain contact with speakers and lecturers, manage communication and participant registration, and coordinate practical organization.
- Evaluate meetings, report on results, and make recommendations to further increase quality and impact.
- Contribute to building a learning organization where knowledge sharing, development, and improvement are central.
What they ask
- Demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, obtained through relevant education, work experience, or a combination of both.
- Education in educational science, procurement, knowledge management, or a similar field is a plus.
- Knowledge of at least two of the following areas: training, knowledge retention, innovation, procurement, tendering, or contract management.
- Insight into the playing field of the procurement function within a complex organization.
- Skill in developing, structuring, and applying knowledge.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities, projects, and meetings.
- Experience in knowledge management, training, education, procurement, tendering, or project management.
