General practitioner psychiatry

What you will do. The adult psychiatry department includes:
- Two open hospitalization units that admit acute cases requiring 24-hour hospitalization on a voluntary basis.
- A day hospital for adults experiencing psychological difficulties, offering daytime therapeutic support focused on group workshops and individual follow-up.
- A Parent-baby unit (5 dyads).
- Liaison activities, emergencies, and consultations, as well as participation in the training and supervision of MACCS.
You will ensure the daily follow-up (somatic care) of patients in acute hospitalization in collaboration with the psychiatrists and the multidisciplinary team.
The team consists of:
- Five hospital psychiatrists
- Four consulting psychiatrists
- One general practitioner
- Six MACCS (UCL and KUL)
What they ask
- General practitioner, graduated from a European university.
- Registered with the Order of Physicians in Belgium.
- Preferably bilingual.
- Independent status.
