Government Program Team Member

This is a socio-economic action program for a specific region, aimed at strengthening the socio-economic structure through intensive collaboration between government, education, and businesses. The program includes three program lines, elaborated into fourteen business cases that translate ambitions into concrete projects and social impact. The implementation is carried out by a program team of four members representing the roles of Government, Entrepreneurs, Education, and Support.

What you will do. As a program team member, you will represent the public role within the program. You will be responsible for the program line "Strengthening the living and business climate" and work closely with municipalities, entrepreneurs, social organizations, and other regional partners. You are a connecting and decisive team player with strategic insight. You monitor project progress, drive results, and ensure that plans are actually implemented.

Strategic advisor.

  • Advises, together with the other program team members, the Steering Committee on the direction, setup, and implementation of the program.
  • Provides substantive contributions, both collectively and individually, to regional socio-economic issues.

Responsible for the implementation of four business cases:

  • Business park sustainability: making business parks future-proof in terms of energy, climate adaptation, greening, and circularity.
  • Strengthening organizational capacity of business parks: stimulating entrepreneurial collectives, strengthening park management, and developing sustainable collaboration structures.
  • Regional marketing: strengthening the image of the region as an attractive place to live, work, and do business.
  • Tourist regional marketing: better positioning the region as a tourist destination and strengthening collaboration between tourism entrepreneurs.

Additionally.

  • Prepares planning, progress reports, and implementation reports for the Steering Committee.
  • Manages project supporters and initiators within the various business cases.
  • Monitors planning, budgets, risks, and results.
  • Makes decisions that contribute to the successful implementation of the program.
  • Informs, connects, and coordinates with relevant stakeholders.

Profile

  • Experience within the public domain, preferably within municipalities or regional cooperation.
  • Affinity with socio-economic development and regional issues.
  • Easily switches between strategy and implementation.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills towards entrepreneurs.
  • Can operate independently while being a true team player.
  • Gets energy from connecting parties and interests.
